About AJA Advocacy Solutions

(pronounced “Asia”)

AJA is an acronym for Amy Joyce Antina, Breanne’s maternal grandmother’s first and middle names. The AJA logo is inspired by Jamaica’s national bird, known as the swallowtail hummingbird or “doctor bird.” The doctor bird was a regular visitor in Amy’s garden in Kingston during Breanne’s childhood. As the proud daughter of Jamaican immigrants, Breanne strives to prioritize the Black immigrant experience in her personal life and in her professional endeavors.
